Custom made jewelry boxes are hand crafted from start to finish in the mountains of Cuidad Quesada in Costa Rica. The wood is Teca, an 'environmentally friendly' certified cultivated wood. Specialized craftsmen carefully bring out the beauty in every piece of wood. The drawer slides out smoothly and is lined with red felt.
Ceramic Buses
These cheerful little ceramic buses depict the sometimes chaotic public transportation system: public buses filled to the brim with chickens, pigs, bananas, luggage and passengers hanging out the windows. Buses are brightly painted and fun. Some have city names written on them.
