Nestled just above the shops and restaurants at the edge of Tamarindo, Casa Tamarindo is a comfortable distance from the hustle and bustle of the town and easily beach accessible. The property consists of one house and two bungalows. Most guests spend their time hammock swinging and playing cards on the shaded deck, a great spot to re-group after an afternoon on the beach, but you will not lack for amenities. The house has a private bedroom, a fold out couch in the living room, two double beds on the second floor with an adjoining deck, a fully functional kitchen, air conditioning, ceiling fan, washing machine and one bathroom. There's plenty of room to sleep others, but as is, it comfortably sleeps 7 or 8. The bungalows each have one double bed, a bathroom, and a small kitchenette on the porch. Inflatable beds are available for more guests.

There are a few tucked away restaurants and an active yoga center on the adjoining block, but generally the area is quieter than the rest of Tamarindo. The beach is about two blocks away where you can rent surf boards, get lessons, go fishing, take a tour of the playas, or lounge at the bars and cafes. The quaint shopping district offers a reprieve from the heat. There you can find a massage at any of the beachside massage therapists or in a quiet breezy spa up the way. Tamarindo nightlife, also just a few blocks away, will appeal to travelers of all ages with fantastic, very reasonably priced restaurants and bars with live music. Share your talent at open mike night!
