Walk west, but make sure to have your surfboard with you, because within 30 meters you will be standing in the Pacific Ocean.
Walk north along the beach and in 10 minutes reach the center of Tamarindo for shops, supermarkets, restaurants, sport-fishing boats, surf and nightlife.
Walk east and reach the backcountry with its forest and nature trails. Hike, bicycle or ride into nature.
